well this has been up for almost 2 days with no posts...... so ... since im the only one talkin to me.... I will begin...


My Mother..what can I say.....

Growing up...I had the cool Mom, the house everyone felt comfortable in... the family... of choice.......

All through my childhood...I always knew I was loved...cared for...yet my mom wasn't outwardly affectionate....I didn't get hugs and kisses..... or the words I love you... weren't offered ever. I just knew it. GOd gave me those gifts.... Im the hugger, the kisser, the lover in my family. Im the one who sits next to everyone and grabs their hand....

Funny though...even knowing what you have...what someone else has always seems more appealing....

Now I am an adult... and the last 5 years have been hard on my Mom. Strokes... Parkinson... Skin Cancer..all in the last 3 years.

My sweet Mom who never said a bad word about or to anyone.. Is not somewhat cranky and rude.... sometimes... shes so awful i cringe....

Her strokes have affected her inhibitions... she is way more free with words....BLAH [img]eek.gif[/img]


She needs help walking...she needs help eating sometimes... she needs help dressing, exercising, writing... pretty much you name it... she needs help. Hard on a person's pride..... but we just do it day by day...

All I know is this....I love her.

She has taught me to be patient....to appreciate what I have....and even to appreciate what isn't so great.

She has longevity in her genes....she could live a long time ....miserable.... Im going to try to do whatever I can...to make her time.... as nice as I can...


I love my MOm... alot......

I have been pretty busy...and i really cant sum up my mom in so many words..i dont have the way with them that you do..but i love her..and im grateful for all she has done for me..she is a friend as well as a mom..which i think is pretty cool.. [img]smile.gif[/img]
